Code

Permits, code and inspection

Permit needs depend on the work. We pull the permit when the job requires it.

  • Work is performed to the National Electrical Code and the local amendments that apply in your jurisdiction.
  • Unpermitted electrical work can surface at resale, complicate an insurance claim, and leave the owner holding the liability. We handle it the right way so you do not have to think about it.

How it works

What happens next

  1. Tell us what you needWhat you want to add and where it goes.
  2. Written quoteThe devices, wiring changes and labor, priced before work begins.
  3. Permits, when requiredWe pull the permit when the job requires it.
  4. InstallationThe product is installed and wired.

Cost

What affects the price

Factors, not figures. The written quote is the number.

  • Device count and type

How many devices there are and which products are involved.

  • Existing wiring

Whether a neutral is present and whether boxes need changes.

  • New circuits or locations

Adding a device where there was no wiring means new wiring.

  • Panel involvement

Smart panel work changes the scope.

Timing

What affects the timeline

Timing depends on the number of devices and on whether new circuits or panel work are involved.

I’ve used Pinnacle Electric three times now and I’ve always had the best experiences. I live in a very old home and always have a list of random electrical needs. They come out, give an accurate estimate and complete the work on time. Everything is always well done and they explain why they are doing certain things. They really make sure that I understand what’s happening with my home. Everyone who works for Pinnacle is also so kind. From the gal who answers the phone, the owner Jed and all of the technicians that I’ve had. I will keep going back to Pinnacale year after year for all of my electric needs.

I recently had Pinnacle Electric out to do some work on a recent home I purchased. They were not only fast and reliable but the most competence price I had received. Highly recommend!

I’ve used Pinnacle twice and they are amazing. They are prompt and do great work. They take great care and leave everything pristine. They explained everything before they left. Their work is quality and their pricing is very fair. I trust them with Amy electrical work in my house and would use them for anything in my home. I most highly recommend them. They take great care and pride in everything they do.
